Chelsea Hotel: The Songs of Leonard Cohen

Marlene will be reprising her role as Jane in a newly conceived production of Chelsea Hotel: The Songs of Leonard Cohen at Western Canada Theatre in Kamloops. The show runs from March 26th - April 4th.
About the Show:
Haunted by memories of his tumultuous love life, a writer checks into New York’s infamous Chelsea Hotel, desperate to find the words and inspiration for his next song. An enchanting, eclectic cabaret of love won, lost, and found again told through Cohen’s transcendent music and lyrics.
Salty Brine's One Night Stand

Upon returning to NYC, Marlene will reprise her role in Salty Brine's Big Mouth Strikes Again as the goth violinist. The show runs for two nights at Ars Nova.
About the Show: The candles flicker. The rain beats down. And the creature stirs. Salty Brine ventures into the dark and disturbed as he twists Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein around The Smiths’ post-punk, indie classic The Queen is Dead. Witness a hideous monster come to life in Bigmouth Strikes Again, back by popular demand.
Bad Hats Theatre's Peter Pan at Carousel

Marlene is heading to Vancouver, BC to play Tinkerbell the west coast premiere of Bad Hat's Peter Pan.
About the show: With live folk music, this imaginative adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic story is a rollicking good time- with no wires, a pinch of magic, and bursting with playful exuberance.

Beau Concept Album
October 15th, 2019
Along with the rest of the original cast, Marlene recorded backup vocals for the upcoming Beau concept album. Sony Masterworks Broadway will release the world-premiere recording of Douglas Lyons and Ethan D. Pakchar's new musical on October 25, followed by a concert at Joe's Pub on October 28th.

Broadway’s Future Songbook Series

Marlene has been cast in the new actor/musician musical, Beau, which will have it's first full production this August. On May 25th, the cast will perform songs and scene excerpts from the show at Broadway’s Future Songbook Series, presented at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center. The concert is free to attend!
